After studying art in various forms, Kim turned to metalsmithing as a means of expressing his artistic vision. He studied silversmithing in San Miguel and then returned to the U.S. to learn lapidary. Accomplished in all aspects of metal work, Kim works with stones from the four corners of the earth to create jewelry for the ages.
